As stakeholders of St. George’s College, we are blessed to be a part of this significant milestone, as we celebrate the grand legacy of 175 years of outstanding service in the field of education. Our five core values: Reverence for God, Excellence, Discipline, Respect, and Teamwork, have been pillars of our spiritual and social development, as we charted a course to excellence in leadership, academics, sports and other co-curricular activities.

In the last two years, we have embraced the Universal Apostolic Preferences of our founders, the Society of Jesus, resulting in an increased awareness of the importance of ministry to those in need, and attentiveness to caring for the environment. In this way, we try to emulate St. Ignatius of Loyola by finding God in all things.

As we put things in place to excel beyond our 175 years, let us do our part to participate in the projects that have been planned for this exciting year. Let us give back to the college.

I encourage all knights, past and present, to set ambitious goals, surpassing your last best. Let us be innovative, as we serve the excluded, and let us be mindful of our impact on the environment.

Let us do all things Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, as we nurture and strengthen the legacy of St. George’s College.
