Addendum to St. George’s College Student/Parent handbook revised 2022, page 47, (page 37 on website) item K:

“K. ELECTRONIC DEVICES 

Student Responsibilities: 

Cellphones are not to be used, seen or heard on campus at any time including before and after school and at lunch times, unless explicitly permitted by a teacher/administrator, and in the presence of the teacher/administrator. Cellphones used, seen or heard without the permission of a teacher/administrator, will be confiscated and returned at the school’s discretion. A fee will be charged for storage and processing. The school’s administration reserves the right to request and inspect the contents of the phone of any student of St. George’s College while that student is in the College’s care. 

Tablets and laptop computers must be authorized under the school Bring Your Own Device policy by registering the device with the office of the principal or vice principal. 

Other electronic devices are not allowed on campus without permission from the Administration and will be confiscated and returned at the school’s discretion after a fee is paid for storage and processing. The College will not be held responsible for any of the aforementioned items in the event that they are stolen or misplaced. Though every attempt will be made to secure confiscated property, the College will not be held responsible for item that may be stolen, in spite of reasonable attempts to secure them.”
