CALLING ALL GEORGIANS - CHEERS FOR HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES:

Contemporary school cheers were no match for the enthusiastic applause and stirring good wishes for the three St. George’s College Old Boys who were formally inducted into the St. George’s College Hall of Fame for 2022, at a glittering Cocktail Reception & Induction Ceremony hosted at the Talk of the Town, Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on Saturday evening, November 12.

The inductees for 2022 and the criteria for which they were selected, are Stephen Hill (class of 1959) for Community Spirit, International Recognition and Vision and Innovation; Francis Price (class of 1964) for Community Spirit, Excellence and Achievement in Business, Inspiring Leadership, International Recognition and Service to the College; and Richard Lake (class of 1970) for Community Spirit, Excellence and Achievement in Business, Inspiring Leadership, Vision and Innovation and Service to the College.

While all three inductees are success stories in their own right, it is for their continuing philanthropy and service to their alma mater which distinguish them amongst their Georgian peers.

This year is the eleventh iteration of Induction to the Hall of Fame, which began in the year 2000. Entry to the St. George’s College Hall of Fame is the highest accolade to which Georgian Old Boys and Faculty may be recognised. After the evening’s proceedings, there are now 56 inductees, portraits of whom are prominently displayed at the St. George’s College Hall of Fame Room, in the Archbishop Samuel E. Carter, S.J. Library.

Mayberry Investments Ltd. was the event’s Headline Sponsor. Other participating sponsors were Burger King, Derrimon Trading, Deltana Architectural Hardware, First Global Bank, GraceKennedy 100 th Anniversary, The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel; JN Bank; National Baking Co. Ltd., National Supply and Supreme Ventures Group.
