Leroy Look Hong

Leroy Look Hong was a 94 years STGC Old  Boy, Leroy, died recently in hospital, following a short illness.

Leroy was a retiree of Grace Kennedy & Co Ltd.

Paul Bitter recounts that “For the Alma Mater he offered his accounting services as Treasurer for our fledging Endowment Fund. 

Thanks to his impeccable bookkeeping & investment strategy, we saw the Fund grow to a value of $75M. after 5 years.

It was this beginning that emboldened a wider cross-section of benevolent old boys to provide renewed support for the Fund. 

In retirement Leroy also played a pivotal role as treasurer of the Cherry Gardens Citizens Association”.He is survived by a son & daughter.  His wife Hortense pre deceased him”.
